Our 3W potentiometer has proved to be fully competitive in every aspect.

Its 3% linearity tolerance makes it useful for sophisticated circuits. Careful design and assembling system provide a good ratio quality/price. Ohmic values according to the E-10 series, but on order we furnish other values too.

This twin 2x3W. wirwound potentiometer is a variant of our well-known type 3-W-N and designed for car and other stereo equipments. Its electrical and physical characteristics are the same as the mentioned 3W.

Our 5W potentiometer distinguish themselves by the original design of the slider-contact. Its consists of a metallic roller on top of a tangential spring.

The turning of the spring produces a hypocycloidal movement of the roller on the flat side of the resistor-strip, thus avoiding the abrasion of the wire.

The ends of the resistor-strip are colloidal-silver painted so, that practically there is no residual resistence.

Our heavy potentiometers and rheostats are made in several powers i. e.: for 15-30-40-60-80-125-250-500 Watts of heat dissipation.

The ceramic core is made of hard non hygroscopic steatite, thus avoiding corrosion due to electrolysys. The core is wound with high quality copper-nickel on chrome-aluminium wire, according to the required ohmic value of the winding.

Each turn of the winding is hold firmly in place and protected against mechanical damages, by a hard, heat resistent ceramic cement.
This cement coating which resists 900ºC has a fast heat dissipation due to ists good heat conductivity and matt radiating surface.

The slider is a fine-silver brush, acording to the rqueriments. Besides linear windings, to order we can wind multi/sections windings, according to customer's needs or specifications, in order to provide a non-linear response.
