Variator single phase – Power-assisted control
Is mainly used to remotely control equipment or for stabiliser equipments.
The high-powered voltage variators are also usually power-assisted, due to the greater comfort they offer in use. In this type of control the variator shaft is activated by a motor by using a manual switch, which allows increasing or reducing the output voltage.
The power assisted control that TORIVAC installs in the variable Autotransformers stop without inertia; therefore they are ideal for remote control.
By order, we can make them stabilized and controlled by means of an electronic card, with a precision of about 2%. This electronic card allows to regulate the variable autotransformer by means of a potentiometer or by a continuous signal of 0-10Vcc
